The iPad turned 10-years old this week.
I use an 11-inch iPad Pro with LTE with Google Fi as my primary device while traveling. Always-on internet virtually anywhere on Earth on a laptop-sized device is terrific. Last year I also found myself using the iPad as my preferred Kindle device—I love continuous scroll as a way to skim through a too-much-detail-for-a-layperson section of a dense non-fiction book.
Here’s a round up of some good essays looking at the iPad at 10:
The iPad Awkwardly Turns 10 by John Gruber
The Tragic iPad by Ben Thompson
Tweetstorm and essay by Steven Sinofsky
iPad in 2020 by Dustin Curtis
And while not a reflection on 10 years of iPad, a bonus in-depth iPad Pro review from Paul Stamatiou.
