Last year, we introduced a new way for developers to build in-feed applications on Farcaster called frames.
Since then, we’ve significantly expanded what developers can build with frames. They now function as full-featured web apps that can appear directly in a social feed. If you can build it as a web app, you can build it as a frame.
To make the concept more intuitive for new developers, we’ve renamed frames to mini apps. This terminology aligns with what Telegram and similar platforms are using for comparable features.
